Issue with some online payments
We are currently experiencing a technical issue with some online payments, when making payments online for council tax, invoices, school meals and other services. The issue is affecting some customers whose banks require 3DP secure authentication for online payments (when you have to enter a passcode or authorise the payment with your bank before the transaction is processed). Our payment provider is working to get this fixed as soon as possible. If you are having problems with online payments for services, here are some alternative ways to pay -
- For council tax, business rates, invoices, planning and building standards fees, commercial bin collections, and airport landing charges - please call our 24 hour automated payment line on 01546 605515
- For payment for berths at Oban Pontoons - please pay in the Harbour Office between 8am and 8pm
- For school meals, please try again later once the issue has been resolved, we unfortunately don't have an alternative payment method for school meals
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
